Upstarts Organic Seedlings produces and distributes a wide selection of premium vegetable and herb seedlings. Heirloom or hybrid varieties of seed are carefully selected for flavor and quality. Seed selection is also based upon plant vigor, disease resistance, and regional growing conditions. We use untreated seed with our custom soil blend to grow our seedlings. Our seedlings are grown without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. We have been certified organic with California Certified Organic Farmers (C.C.O.F.) since 1990.
